Me and my ex girlfriend broke up a month ago .. and she found another [ a guy she went out with before two years ago.]

But heres the thing .. she doesn't care about none of her ex boyfriends except for me .. she told me this in exact words : "I dont know if you let your friends talk about me.. but I would never let a guy come up to me and disrespect you or what we had.. and thats my word."

and on her myspace .. theres a picture of me that says "We aren't as close as before.. I don't know why.. but your still my friend." ...and she has a boyfriend, and he isn't even on her Myspace that much.. but he has one too.. and he's on her top four.

and today.. we put all our problems to the side we had towards the end of the relationship and after.. even though we didnt have problems .. we would just get mad at what each other away message would say at times.. but today she was like "My mom knows we had sex ! hehe. =)"

What is her deal ? Why does she want to be so close to me ? Help !

Either she's obsessed or just tryin to be really, really, friendly, in a creepy type of way. lol I'm not sure but the best thing u should do is to just tell her that the relationship is over, that u just wanna be friends (if u even want that), and tell her to stop stalkng u and talking about ur past relationship with her. Then again, u could just completely ignore and whnever she approaches u walk away or tell her to go away.

I liked to call it riding the rails. Keeping a future contact for some reason and having someone to talk with.

Like you said she is with a guy from before. You really dont know what she has said to him to keep them in contact.
